There is a $100 non-refundable retainer fee unless otherwise stated for promotional Minis. Retainer fees are non-refundable and are due at booking. No session is booked until retainer fee is received. The remaining balance is due no later than one week prior to the day services will be rendered. Balances that remain unpaid by due date will result in loss of scheduled date and loss of retainer fee. Retainer fee remains non-refundable. No refunds are given.
c a n c e l l a t i o n s | reschedules:
Client understands that by paying retainer fee for a session, Client is entering into an agreement with Photographer and Photographer is foregoing other photographic jobs. In the event of a cancellation or postponement of the scheduled session by Client, the retainer fee is non-refundable and any payments or final balance paid are non-refundable as well. At the discretion of the Photographer, retainer fee and any payments or final balance paid may be transferable up to one time to a next scheduled session if a date/time change becomes necessary. Final payment, if made, is non-refundable. Cancellation fees may apply. No refunds are given.
l a t e a r r i v a l s | no show:
Session time begins at the hour scheduled. Any tardiness from Client will be at Client's expense and result in time deducted from Client's allotted session time. If Client is late by more than thirty minutes, Lori J. Photography will consider the session cancelled and Client agrees to waive any session fees paid. If Client is a no-show to scheduled session, then any session fees paid will not be refunded and charged for Photographer's time. Retainer fee remains non-refundable and in this case, non-transferable. No refunds are given.
w e a t h e r:
If it is not possible for a session to take place on scheduled date/time due to weather, at solely the Photographer's discretion, Photographer will notify Client of reschedule options. Photographer and Client will reschedule on an agreed date/time at the earliest date possible. No refunds are given.
p r o m o t i o n a l m i n i sessions:
In the event of rain/weather (see above: weather), promotional mini sessions will be rescheduled. The new date(s) will be chosen with the intent of accommodating all Clients as best as possible. If Client is unable to attend weather make-up session date/time due to scheduling conflict, Client may use their payment towards a future promotional mini session within six months of previously scheduled mini event or may pay the difference for a regular portrait session. If Client misses their scheduled promotional mini session for reasons other than weather as stated here, then session rescheduling is solely at discretion of Photographer. It is understood that promotional mini session fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Retainer fee remains non-refundable. Final session payment remains non-refundable.
c r e a t i v e l i c e n s e | editing:
Images are processed/edited at Photographer's discretion and digital images/files given may not include all images shot. Photographer reserves the right to edit and release only those deemed within Photographer's artistic standards. Any additional editing/processing/touchups or alterations to images/gallery will be subject to a $150/per hour fee. No refunds will be given under any circumstance if Client dislikes Lori J. Photography's editing style.
d i g i t a l i m a g e s | products + files:
Images will be delivered via instant digital download through an online gallery. It is Client's responsibility to download images prior to gallery expiring and within timeframe specified when receiving gallery. A gallery renewal fee of $125 will be applied to retrieve images that are available for retrieval beyond this timeframe. There is no guarantee that images will be available for retrieval once gallery has expired. No refunds are given. A USB is only provided if included in package chosen. Any packages with product or print inclusions must be ordered/submitted by Client within 72 hours of Client receiving gallery. If Client has not submitted inclusion requests within 72 hour timeframe, all inclusions are chosen at Photographer's discretion. No refunds are given.
All sessions include a print release to print at the lab of Client's choice. Photographer is not responsible for the quality of prints from the lab Client's choose. Client's purchase of digital images/files releases Photographer from any obligation to maintain copies of any digital file, image, or photograph. It is Client's responsibility to back-up all digital images/files. Any disc/USB is susceptible to data loss or corruption and Photographer is not responsible for the lifespan of any digital media provided and does not permanently archive image files.

All parties agree to full cooperation and communication for the best possible session results. Photographer is not responsible if Client(s) fail to cooperate during session and there is no promise that any photo may be recreated. Child/Client(s) temperament and behavior during the session is not within Photographer's control, therefore Photographer may not be held responsible for galleries that do not meet the session description's minimum image amount. Should a child attend a session and is visibly ill, it is within Lori J. Photography's right to reschedule the session right then and there. Pricing is non-negotiable and is subject to change at any time with or without notice. Traveling fees may apply.
l i a b i l i t y:
Photographer is not liable in the unlikely event of injury and/or death that may occur at a session for any reason. Safety precautions are always taken to prevent and avoid unsafe conditions. Client may also not be held liable given the unlikely event that Photographer may become injured in any way.
