W H A T should I wear?
This is possibly one of the first questions that you might think of, right? I know it is mine when my family is in front of the camera. The short and sweet of it is: Stay true to who you are. And remember, the "matchy matchy" days are long gone. Don't worry, when your session is booked, I will send you some information on selecting outfits and I always recommend to my clients that they send me photos of any possible outfit choices so that I may help through the process.
W H E N will I see/receive my images?
Turnaround time is 3 weeks. Within this timeframe I may post* sneak peeks on Facebook and/or Instagram. If you are in need of your images sooner, please let me know when scheduling and I will try to accommodate your special request for an additional rush fee. However, I work on sessions in the order they are scheduled to be fair to all my clients anxiously awaiting their memories. During the holidays, turnaround timeframe is very much at 3 weeks unless otherwise listed. Once your collection is complete, you will receive a notification via email along with further information on how to view/download your images from your private online gallery. If your package included a USB, it will be sent once your collection is ready and gallery has been posted.
*I try to post a couple sneak peeks of all my sessions, but I do not guarantee that I will due to time / schedule / etc. Also, I do honor privacy requests so please let me know if you have any.
W H E R E will session take place?
Once your session is booked, we will get down to all the good stuff like date / time / location, location, location. If you have a certain place or type of place in mind, please feel free to let me know and we can discuss the possibilities. Newborn sessions take place at my home studio located in the Sunnyvale / Forney area. Downtown McKinney studio is also available for an additional fee. If you'd like a session held in your home, contact me for additional information. I do serve all of the surrounding DFW (Dallas) Metroplex and the Rio Grande Valley. If you would like to book me for a session out of these service areas, I am up for that, too! Travel fees will apply; Contact me for more info.
W H Y do you do photography?
I know firsthand what it's like to only be left with memories. When photographs are all that is left to tell a life's story. I urge everyone to not just take photos (professional or not), but to print them out as well, for this very reason. One day someone will have your box of memories that will tell your story. Isn't that priceless? So why do I do photography? I do this for the love of life. And capturing memories. Moments. For when time has flown by and all we have left are the photographs. Let me capture yours. ♥︎
